Our Ultimate formula, the most durable construction adhesive we offer, is tough, versatile, and completely waterproof. It can even be used underwater. This adhesive is paintable, easy to dispense, and instantly grabs onto surfaces. It can bond a variety of materials such as subfloor, decks, bath surrounds, granite, marble, brick, metal, and more.
DIRECTIONS: TO OPEN: 1) Unscrew and remove the nozzle from the top of the cartridge. 2) Set the nozzle aside. Cut the hard plastic tip of the cartridge above the threads. 3) Replace the nozzle.
TO USE: Ensure all surfaces are clean and free of dirt, grease, and oil. It is best to use the adhesive above 40°F. 1) Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to achieve the desired bead size. 2) Insert the nozzle into the cartridge gun. 3) Apply the adhesive to one surface in a zig-zag pattern or along the perimeter of the object, being cautious of squeeze-out. When working on rough or uneven surfaces, use enough adhesive to fill gaps. 4) Press the surfaces firmly together within 10 minutes.
NOTE: For heavy items, temporary support may be necessary. When hanging large mirrors, it is recommended to use mechanical fasteners in addition to the adhesive.
STORAGE: Store Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive Ultimate in a cool, dry location with the nozzle attached and filled with adhesive. The remaining adhesive in the nozzle acts as a seal for the adhesive in the cartridge. To reuse the product, remove the nozzle and clean the cured adhesive from the tip. Do not freeze the adhesive. Keep the product away from children and animals.
